Celina G. Utley has been an employee of Coastal Plains Community Center for fourteen years. Mrs. Utley received her Bachelorβs degree in Psychology and Sociology as well as a Masterβs degree in Counseling & Guidance from Texas A&M University Kingsville. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is also certified in Trauma Focused CBT. Mrs. Utley utilizes these clinical skills to direct after hour crisis care for the nine-county region that Coastal Plains Center services. Her work history is diverse and includes IDD service coordination, Youth & Family Mental Health Case Management and Adult Mental Health Case Management. Her knowledge of face to face patient care has led her to use those skills to teach and lead others. This has resulted in managerial positions that include serving as the Director for the Office of Drug & Social Policy Research for the University of Houston, Assistant Clinic Director for the Alice MH clinic and currently serving as the Clinic Director for the Coastal Plains Falfurrias Center.
