Have Russian planes been hit in Belarus?

Explosions can be heard and flashes can be seen in the area of the Ziabrauka military airfield near the Belarusian town of Homel, which is now under the control of the Russians.

This is reported by TSN with reference to the Belaruski Hayun group, which monitors the military activity of the Russian Federation in Belarus.

"There is information that explosions are being heard and flashes can be seen near the Ziabrauka airfield. According to preliminary information, at least four flashes were seen over the last 10 minutes," reads the report.

The information about the flashes was soon confirmed by "several sources". According to various sources, starting from 00:30, there were at least eight flashes.

The Belarusian telegram channel of Flagshtok also writes about the explosions, which were heard in Homel district and the southern neighbourhoods of Homel.

"From 00:25 to 00:32, explosions could be heard, a [shock] wave was felt, a couple of times light flashes [were seen] through the solid cloud cover. The direction - the Ziabrauka airfield," the report said.

It is noted that in early August at least 4 military transport aircraft of the Russian Air Force flew to Homel airport 'Ziabrauka'. At that time, the transportation of missiles for C300/C400 launchers was reported.

There is no official confirmation of this information yet.

We note that on July 7, the deputy head of the Main Operative Directorate of the AFU General Staff, Oleksiy Gromov, said that Belarus had given the Ziabrauka airfield to Russian control.

We remind you that on August 9, a series of powerful explosions sounded at the Russian-occupied Saki military airfield in Novofedorivka (Crimea).
