Russia's Retreat From Kherson
On the afternoon of November 9, the commander of the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, announced that the Russian military was being transferred to the left bank of the Dnieper from Kherson. The Office of the President of Ukraine stated that a significant grouping of Russian military remains in Kherson and there are no signs of retreat without a fight.
Before the retreat, the Russian military began to destroy Kherson: they blew up the boiler rooms and the oblenergo facility, as well as the television center, the city was left without electricity and communications.
Russian invaders blew up the TV center, which is located near the TV tower. The tower itself is intact.
The Russians also blew up part of the mobile communication towers and de-energized the city.
Therefore, problems with communication continue in Kherson. It is only at the Antonovsky bridge (Antonovka, which is not far from Kherson).
Earlier it was reported that the Russians are mining everything they can, moving from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
