Putin "introduced" martial law in the occupied territories


Putin "introduced" martial law in the annexed Kherson, Zaporizhia, Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine, which "should come into effect" from midnight on October 20.

The "implemented" regime provides for:

  1. ban on citizens leaving the country;
  2. evacuation of economic, social and cultural objects, as well as temporary relocation of residents to safe areas;
  3. introduction of a special regime of entry and exit to the territory, as well as restrictions on freedom of movement through it;
  4. involvement of citizens in the performance of works for the needs of defense, liquidation of the consequences of the use of weapons by the enemy, restoration of economic objects;
  5. introduction of curfew;
  6. seizure of property necessary for defense needs from organizations and citizens with subsequent payment by the state of its value;
  7. the introduction of military censorship in the field of communications, as well as control over telephone conversations.

In fact, these decrees cover three things:

  • violent mobilization to the racist army;
  • forcible involvement of the civilian population in works related to the preparation of fortification structures;
  • forcible deportation to the territory of Russia of the civilian population residing in the temporarily occupied territories.
