On Wednesday, October 19, the Russians launched a missile attack on the Burshtyn TPP, which caused a fire at the power plant.

On October 10, the Russians hit the Burshtyn TPP with four missiles that hit the distribution device of the TPP. A fire broke out at the scene of the attack. After that, the regional authorities called on the residents of Prykarpattia to reduce their electricity consumption. According to Svitlana Onyshchuk, as of October 19, Ivano-Frankivsk region limited the use of electricity by 15%.
