UN security council members condemn Russia's referendums in Ukraine

Members of the United Nations security council have denounced Russia over referendums held in eastern Ukraine.

Moscow said residents had voted overwhelmingly to join Russia. Ambassadors from the US, the UK and Albania said they would never recognise any territory 'Russia attempts to seize'.
