Russia destroys Key Bridge in Bakhmut

The invaders broke the bridge connecting the two parts of Bakhmut.

At about 11 am on Thursday, the invaders broke the bridge across the Bakhmutovka River in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, which united two parts of the city.

Source: photo in social networks, Yuly Terekhov, press secretary of the 58th brigade, in a commentary to the UP.

Details: The military assumes that the Russians fired a heavy-duty rocket at the bridge - as you can see from the photo, it is completely destroyed.

Thus, the area of Bakhmut, located across the river and from the direction of the Russian offensive (the locals call it Zabakhmutovka), remained practically isolated.

Yulia Terekhova's direct speech: "The fire brigade or ambulance is unlikely to come to civilians on the other side. The Russians are trying to destroy the city, infrastructure, and disrupt logistics. But the heroic defense of Bakhmut continues."

What came before: The Russians have been actively advancing on Bakhmut since mid-July. The city is regularly under Russian artillery fire.
