Mobilization in the Russian Federation, rallies


Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. He informed that the decree has already been signed and mobilization begins on September 21. In addition, he declared his support for "referendums" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and also "warned the West to use all possible means to preserve the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation."

In Russia, against the background of the mobilization announced by President Vladimir Putin in the morning, protest actions began, and deputies of the Republic of Mary El even demanded the resignation of the president. "Putin is in the trenches!": a mass rally against mobilization and war has gathered in Moscow. 

Several tens of people came out for actions in Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Tomsk, Moscow and other cities.
